Operational Plans
Operational Plans sit below service improvement plans and capture the work plan actions needed to deliver against the service improvement plan at divisional and/or team level. In schools operational plans are called improvement plans. In containing these detailed actions they are aligned to the priorities in the corporate plan and service improvement plan and contribute to the corporate improvement plan, Thematic Partnerships Plans and the Community Plan and Single Outcome Agreement.
Operational Plans are internal management tools and as such are not reported to council committees.
Preparation of operational plans starts at the same time as the service improvement plan so that they are in place by the start or shortly after the start of the financial year.
