Art Exhibitions
Visitors to our galleries have the opportunity to see the work of local, national and international artists. The exhibitions cover a wide range of media and disciplines, from traditional landscape painting and portraiture to cutting edge installations and video/CD-ROM work. Each exhibition generally runs for a four week period with one week either side for changeover.
The galleries are open Monday to Saturday from 10.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. and admission is free!

How much is the admission charge?
Angus Council museums and galleries have no admission charges.
How much is it worth?
The Council is not able to give valuations on works of art. Advice should be sought from professional valuers and auctioneers.
Call that art?
Although many of the exhibitions are very straight forward, some of them do require a bit of work on the part of the viewers.
Gallery staff may be able to answer any questions you may have as they are generally introduced to artists prior to the opening of the exhibition in order for them to discuss the history and background of the exhibition.
