What is ACCESS Angus?
ACCESS Angus is the way for Angus citizens to access council services.

We aim to provide excellent standards of customer care by providing information at the first point of contact for all enquiries about the services provided by the council.
The three channels of ACCESS Angus use the same database which is reviewed regularly to ensure that the information on services is accurate and up to date.
What are ACCESS Offices and where are they located?
If you prefer to visit a council office to speak to a member of staff, ACCESS Offices provide this facility. Our staff can deal with all general enquiries, requests for services, complaints and payments for some council services.

What is ACCESSLine?
ACCESSLine 08452 777 778 is a direct telephone line for council services and can deal with all general enquiries, requests for services, complaints and payments for some council services.
It is open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Outwith these times an answering service is operational, giving details of emergency arrangements and allows you to leave messages.
Angus Council is a Text Relay friendly organisation with ACCESSLine staff trained by Action on Hearing Loss (formerly known as RNID). This means we can communicate with our customers that use a Textphone. Text Relay connects people who cannot speak or hear on the phone, with other people using a telephone, by providing a text-to-voice and voice-to-text relay service.

How do staff deal with enquiries/service requests?
Both ACCESS Offices and ACCESSLine can deal with the majority of your enquiries and service requests. Where they are unable to do this they will immediately forward your enquiry/request to the appropriate department. We will give you a unique reference number so you can track your enquiry if required. Our aim is to deal with your enquiry/request as quickly as possible.
What is ACCESS Online?
ACCESS Online is the A-Z of Services function of the Angus Council website which contains lots of service information, and allows users to request services online. You can download Council Application forms and use interactive services such as the library catalogue.
Can I make payments?
Do I have to give my name and address?
No, but we will be unable to contact you if we need further information and will not be able to advise you of the outcome.
What if I haven't heard anything or want an update?
You can either call in to an ACCESS Office or telephone ACCESSLine 08452 777 778. By giving us your unique reference number, or simply your name and address, we will be able to advise you of the current situation.
