What is the Angus Club Excellence Award (ACE)?
Angus Council has developed our club accreditation scheme, to allow the public to recognise safe, effective and child-friendly club environments.
The scheme takes into account council letting conditions and child protection legislation, giving the club the support necessary to take up best practice.
The ACE award has three stages to allow the smaller clubs of Angus to work up through the levels with the aim of achieving the highest standard. Each award has its own benefits such as free places on courses and raising the profile of your club in the local community.
The process is very simple with support and resources being made available throughout from the Sports Development unit. If your club has already gained a National Governing Body Accreditation, then gaining your ACE award should be relatively simple.
