Football Development
Angus Council in partnership with the Scottish Football Association has its own Football Development Officer committed to the delivery of all aspects of football within Angus.
Stevie Baxter is a graduate of the University of Abertay Dundee in Sports Coaching with Development and has also coached at a variety of clubs as a Youth Initiative Coach including Dundee United FC, Dundee FC, St Johnstone FC and local clubs Brechin City and Forfar Athletic.
Stevie is responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive football programme including:
- Mini Kickers - 3 to 4 years
- Participation Centres & FUN 4s - 5 to 12 years
- Holiday Programmes - 3 to 12 years
- SFA Coach Education Courses
- Food Standards Agency Programme - P4
- McDonald's Primary School Programme - P5 to P7
- Bank Of Scotland Soccer One Programme - S1 to S3
- Bank of Scotland and Youth Initiative Fund Midnight Leagues
- Primary and Secondary School Festivals
- SFA Development Squads - Youth Programme - Under 13s/14s/15s Boys and Under 13s Girls
- Quality Mark for Clubs
- Quality Mark for Schools
- Local Amateur, Junior and Senior Club Support
