Dundee & Angus Structure Plan
Approved with modifications by Scottish Ministers, October 2002
The Dundee and Angus Structure Plan was approved with modifications and became operative on 21 October 2002.
The Structure Plan sets out the strategic land use planning framework for Dundee and Angus over the period 2001-2016. The Plan provides a long term vision for the area and sets out the broad land use planning strategy guiding development and change. The Structure Plan also sets the context for Local Plans, which translate the strategy in more detail. The Plan also provides a significant contribution through land use matters to the broader community planning process and to Local Agenda 21 in working towards sustainable development.
