Fifth statutory review of electoral arrangements

Fifth statutory review of electoral arrangements

The Fifth Statutory Review of local government electoral arrangements in Scotland commenced on 21 February 2014.

After public consultation, the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland submitted their reports and final recommendations to Scottish Ministers for the number of councillors and electoral ward boundaries in Scotland’s 32 local authorities earlier this year.

The recommendations for the Angus local government area were approved by Scottish Ministers on 14 September 2016. As a result of these recommendations a review of the polling arrangements in the affected wards was undertaken.
