You can vote in the UK Parliamentary elections on Thursday 12 December 2019 if you’re registered to vote and are:
- aged 18 or over on polling day
- a British citizen, Irish or qualifying Commonwealth citizen;
- resident at an address in the UK (or a UK citizen living abroad who has been registered to vote in the UK in the last 15 years)
- not subject to any legal incapacity to vote
If your name is not on the register, you will not be able to vote.
The last date to apply to be registered to vote for this election is Tuesday 26 November 2019.
You can register online. You will need your national insurance number (if you have one).
