Liquor licensing and local protection levels

For the attention of all licensed premises in Angus.

The rules in relation to COVID-19 restrictions have been set by the Scottish Government. From 9 August all parts of Scotland will move to beyond Level 0.

Scottish Government guidance is available in relation to what this means.

Please note that the guidance is regularly updated so licence holders should review this regularly.

It is important that you, as a licence holder, are aware of the rules which require to be followed.

The most notable changes for licensed premises from 9 August will be:

  • face coverings must be worn indoors
  • customers are still required to provide contact details to assist Test and Protect
