Accessing your council services

Did you know you can now do most things online through our website, including reporting an issue, viewing your council tax account and submitting payments, requests and enquiries? The website is available 24/7 and is quick and easy to use.

Contacting the council by phone

From today (Monday 3 February), your ACCESSLine will be changing. We know that the busiest time of day for our customers to call is from mid-morning onwards, so we are shifting more of our resource to be available over that time period. This will help to reduce the amount of time you have to wait.

The new opening hours will be from 8.45am to 5.00pm Mon, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 10.00am to 5.00pm on a Wednesday. Out with these hours, a recorded message will give emergency numbers to contact if you have an urgent problem.
