Bringing people and together and pooling the best of resources and to build stronger communities is the aim of the Community Resilience – Project Angus roadshow.
The roadshow pulls in to the Muirhead and Birkhill Millennium Hall, Coupar Angus Road, Birkhill, DD2 5QE, at 7pm on Wednesday 29 May and will include presentations from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Scottish Ambulance Service, Police Scotland, Neil McLeod – Glen Ogilvie Resilience Plan/Defibrillators, Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks, SGN gas, Angus Council, and other community group speakers.
The event offers a platform for the local community to come together to explore the importance of local resilience and to seek out ways of working together to establish greater resilience. Ultimately, the aim is to have community resilience plans in place in every locality in the county that that feed into an Angus-wide plan.
