Delivered by Angus Council Vibrant Communities Service; Showcase the Street and DD8 Music, the project tied together the diverse experience and skills from each agency to deliver an incredibly valuable project for young people that helped them to explore and express their emotions during what was a very difficult time last year.

The project engaged and supported over 250 young people in a range of activities including dance, drama, AI, Music and art. Feedback from young people, schools and parents highlighted that the project made a big difference in young people’s mental health and wellbeing - engaging them in fun and positive learning experiences.

The National Youth Work Awards 2022 are holding their awards ceremony on 1 June in Glasgow, where they will celebrate the work and activities of youth workers, volunteers, youth groups and lifetime achievers.
