Angus Council area will move from Level 3 to Level 2 from 6pm on Friday (11 Dec).

At Scottish Parliament today, the First Minister said she was pleased to say that levels of Covid-19 transmission were reduced and relatively low in Angus, but urged everyone to continue to do everything that is required to keep themselves and their loved ones safe. As restrictions ease, caution becomes more important, not less.

Neighbouring councils, Dundee, Perth & Kinross remain in Level 3. Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City remain in Level 2. No one should travel into a Level 3 area unless they have an essential reason for doing so - work, education, shopping or health reasons are considered essential.
