All seven of Angus Recycling Centres will be open from tomorrow (1 July). But remember, you will need to make an online booking to attend at Brechin, Carnoustie, Kirriemuir and Monifieth.
To book, go to our recycling centres webpages.
Only cars and small vans can use these sites and the usual range of materials will be accepted, except for non-recyclable (general) waste.
You will also need to book online if you’re taking a large transit-type van or trailer to larger centres at Arbroath, Forfar and Montrose (via our recycling centres pages).
Small cars and vans can attend at these sites without a booking and the full range of materials will be accepted, including non-recyclable (general) waste.
Commercial customers, using a pre-paid voucher system, will also be accepted, but only at Arbroath, Forfar and Montrose. Further details can be found on our commercial waste webpage.
These arrangements are in place so sites can operate safely in line with current national guidance and advice during the COVID-19 pandemic response.
We ask that, when on site, only one person exits a vehicle to dispose of items unless it is absolutely necessary for a second person to assist with lifting and handling. Council staff cannot assist with lifting and handling due to physical distancing requirements.
