Moving from Level 3 to Level 2

Published on Wednesday 9 December 2020

With Angus set to move from Level 3 to Level 2 this Friday, it’s worth remembering the travel restrictions that are in place in Scotland as part of wider protective measures.

The important rules for Angus residents once in Level 2 are as follows –

  • You should minimise unnecessary journeys between areas in different levels.
  • You must, by law, avoid any unnecessary travel to places in Level 3 or 4.
  • If you must travel for essential purposes, please follow the guidance on travelling safely that is available on the Scottish Government website.

Looking at those areas closest to us, Dundee City, Perth & Kinross and Fife council areas will remain in Level 3 from this Friday. Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire council areas will remain in Level 2. People living in Level 3 areas must remain in those areas unless they have a reasonable excuse.

Further details on travel and transport is available on the Scottish Government website.
