Nomination papers can now be obtained for the Scottish Parliament elections to be held on Thursday 6 May 2021.
Nominations papers are available to download or from the Constituency Returning Officer at Election Office, Digital Reprographics Unit, Sylvie Way, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar, DD8 1AY, between 10am and 4pm (Mon to Fri) and must be returned to this address no later than 4pm on Wednesday 31 March 2021. Do you want to vote in this year’s Scottish Parliament elections?
If you are 16-years old or over and resident in Scotland, then your vote matters – but you must be registered to vote and your voter information must be correct and up to date!
Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Monday 19 April. The easiest way to register is online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
Voters have a range of options for casting their ballot – in person at their local polling station (where necessary COVID-19 protections will be in place); by post; or by appointing someone they trust to vote in their place, known as a proxy vote.
