Plan today to vote in May - Scottish Parliament Election 2021

Published on Monday 22 February 2021

The Scottish Parliament elections will be held on Thursday 6 May.

For the Angus area (and a part of Aberdeenshire too), that means electing constituency and regional MSPS for Angus South and Angus North and Mearns constituencies.

If you are 16-years old or over and live in Scotland, and you want to vote on 6 May, the most important thing you can do now is make sure you are registered to vote and that your voter information is correct.

You can choose to vote from home by applying for a postal ballot by 5pm on Tuesday 6 April. To do so, you can contact the Electoral Registration Officer

Or you can go to your polling station where all the necessary COVID-19 protections will be in place to help keep you safe.

In Angus, we have changed some of the venues for Polling Stations and you’ll find more information on our website’s Scottish Parliament Election – 6 May 2021 pages.
