The B9113 at Rescobie remains closed due to flooding and severe weather-related damage to the road surface.
The road was closed at around 5pm yesterday (Thu 18 Feb) due to flooding from the loch and will need to be repaired once the water has subsided. Work is ongoing to try to reduce the local water levels so that work can begin to allow a route through for vehicles.
Traffic signals may be in place as a necessity once the road re-opens and repair work is ongoing.
Drivers can take the diversion route of B9113/C44 Westerton Crossroads to the A932 Arbroath Road into Forfar.
