UPDATED @ 4pm on 12/07/22 - Roadworks set to start at Tealing

Published on Monday 11 July 2022

Resurfacing work will now start in Tealing from Monday 18 July and not Friday 15 July as previously scheduled/reported. It is set to last for approximately five working days.

The work is being carried out on the main route through the village towards the A90 and will result in some restrictions for pedestrians and traffic. The road will be closed with a diversion in place as follows:

  • C6 – U332 Emmock Road – A90 Emmock Roundabout – A90 Northbound
  • A90 Northbound – Gateshead Interchange – A90 Southbound - A90 Emmock Roundabout - U332 Emmock Road - C6 Tealing

Vehicle access to properties will be extremely limited during working hours and anyone requiring access/egress should speak to Roads Staff at the work site and they will assist.

The contractor will try to allow access to driveways overnight, where safe to do so and will try to maintain access at weekends. Pedestrian access will be available to all properties and supported by barriers where work is ongoing. Should you require access to or egress from your property while work is being carried out there you are asked to attract the attention of a member of the workforce who will assist you.

Bin collections will be unaffected and bins should be put out as normal.

Please contact Angus Council if you, or anyone you know who lives or works in the affected area has any special needs, particularly with regard to access or mobility and we will make any necessary arrangements.

Public transport will be affected by the work and notices will be posted at bus stops to inform of any changes and alternative stops.

We appreciate this work may cause some inconvenience and thank you in advance for your patience and co-operation. Anyone requiring further information can email Roads@Angus.gov.uk or contact Roads Asset Management via the ACCESSLine on 03452 777 778.
