Work placements for young people

Work placements help young people to make informed decisions about their future careers.

Work placements:

  • bring relevance to academic work
  • enable young people to learn from different people with different perspectives
  • raise young people's aspirations
  • highlight the options available on leaving school

For more information on work placements view Education Scotland's Work Placement Standard.
