Could you foster?

There are many attributes needed to become a foster carer: resilience, energy and patience are just a few. The most important quality that you can bring is your willingness to accept a child for who they are.

"Becoming a foster carer is life changing. It's the most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life"

We have a few practical requirements as well:

  • you are at least 21 years old
  • you have a spare room
  • you are in reasonable health and medically fit
  • you must be able to drive and have access to a car
  • you are a non-smoker (this includes e-cigarettes/vaping) if caring for a child under 12 years old
