Foster with Angus Council

Open Your Heart. Open Your Home.
There is an urgent need for foster carers in Angus – people like you, who can provide a safe and loving home for local children when they need it most. By becoming a foster carer, you can make a lasting difference in a child’s life – and your own.
Foster carers come from all walks of life, but they all share one thing: a desire to care for and support a child or young person.
You will need to:
- be at least 21 years old
- have a spare bedroom
- be a non-smoker
- be dedicated, patient and ready to welcome a child into your life.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
What we offer you
In return, we offer:
- 24/7 support
- comprehensive training and ongoing development
- regular breaks
- financial allowance and expenses
- a welcoming fostering community in Angus.
