Smaller volumes of commercial garden waste can be collected as part of the garden waste recycling service.
Commercial businesses can dispose of larger volumes of garden waste at Restenneth Recycling Park, Montrose Road, Forfar, DD8 2SZ.
Opening hours
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 3pm
Friday: 7:30am to 12noon
Open on all public holidays except Christmas and New Year.
What you will need
- company paperwork (such as a letterhead) showing contact details
- a transfer note, which gives details such as the nature of the waste, where it originated from and final disposal. Visit Netregs to find out more about your legal duty of care
- any business transporting controlled waste should check if they need to register as a waste carrier with the Scottish Protection Agency. You may be required to provide your registered waste carrier's number
Charges
Green waste for composting is charged at:
- Ex VAT £49.25
- Inc VAT £59.10
A weighbridge is in operation.
All waste is subject to checks where additional charges can be made where contamination is above 5%. We work to PAS100 which excludes accepting certain types of invasive species.
