There are several ways you can help:
- become a host
- donate clothing, toys and other good quality, unwanted items, contact resettlement@angus.gov.uk
- make a donation through the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
Many, many people want to help and this way ensures that donated cash goes to trusted charities and aid organisations who will buy what is most needed and are already working in the most challenging areas to deliver to those in greatest need. Charities with experience of responding to disasters are best-placed to reach victims on the ground.
We may not be able to stand in their shoes, but Angus Council and its communities are and will continue to be ready to support Ukraine and its people in the most useful ways that we can.
