The Development Management Review Committee is responsible for hearing appeals against a decision in relation to a planning application. Requests for review must be made within three months of the decision. A review can also be requested where the application for planning permission has not been determined within two months.
All papers relating to the Development Management Review Committee from September 2014 are available on our agendas, reports and minutes from September 2014 pages. To request papers from before September 2014 use our online enquiry form.
For meeting dates visit our forthcoming council meetings page.
Membership
All scheduled committees (with the exception of the Special Civic Licensing Committee on 24 April) have been put on hold until such time as a further Special Angus Council is called to determine the appointment of Members to Standing Committees, including appointment of Conveners and Vice-Conveners. Appointments to outside bodies will continue as they are until such time as the calling notice for the subsequent Special Council is published.
How the meeting is run
The Development Management Review Committee is a public meeting but applicant/interested parties cannot address the meeting.
Once members of the committee have considered the information before them, they will determine the application, or will ask for further further information.
This can take the form of written submission, a site visit or a hearing. The clerk will make the necessary arrangements and will advise interested parties as necessary.
Once the committee has made a decision, the clerk will arrange for a decision notice to be issued.
