Angus Council Charitable Trust

The Angus Council Charitable Trust provides support to vulnerable people in Angus.

It also helps local groups or organisations with ongoing projects.

Applications up to and including £1000 will be considered by a subgroup compromising of 8 trustees, one from each of the council ward areas.

Applications above £1000 will be considered by the trustees who are the 28 elected members of Angus Council.


Purpose of funds

The trust covers all wards in Angus, with the purpose of funds as follows:

  • Prevention/relief of poverty
  • Provision of recreational facilities/activities
  • Relief of those in need
  • Advancement of education
  • Advancement of citizenship/community
  • Advancement of arts, heritage, culture, science, war memorials

Please apply only if you have tried all other forms of help.

Post the completed form to the address on the form or email it with any attachments to accesslawcommittee@angus.gov.uk

You can also hand in your completed forms at any council office.


What happens next

We will write to tell you the trustees’ decision. The trustees' decision is final.
