Phasing out of cash payments for licensing

The Angus Licensing Board and Civic Licensing Committee have undertaken a consultation in respect of phasing out cash payments for licensing. Before this happens, views were sought from the public so that the Board and Committee can make an informed decision.

It was agreed at the meeting of Angus Council on Friday 3 April, that the timetable of meetings of council and committee meetings be cancelled up to 1 June 2020. When meetings resume the Board and Committee will consider responses and make a decision about whether cash payments should be phased out for licensing.
