Town Centre Fund

The Scottish Government has made £50m available to local authorities under the Town Centre Fund (2019/20), and the Angus share amounted to £1.080m.

Angus Council agreed at its meeting on  20 June 2019, to distribute/share out these funds based on population, and that distribution for each of the main towns looks like this: 

• Arbroath £312,294
• Brechin £94,050
• Carnoustie £148,709
• Forfar £184,142
• Kirriemuir £77,215
• Monifieth £107,411
• Montrose £156,180
