You will work with the Glen Isla Project and Glen Clova Projects who help and support women who often find themselves involved with the court and justice services, providing business and admin support to project staff in an all-women team.
Cyber security and network
Working in the Network and Security Team, you will configure networking equipment and security systems, while maintaining and developing security policies and procedures.
Working in the Skills Team you will help with the registration forms and records required for employability contracts (such as MA contracts, skill programmes) that help businesses and people in Angus gain appropriate skills.
Revenues and benefits
Working in the Revenues and Benefits service you will provide general clerical/administration for the four teams who cover admin, rent arrears, income/sales and recovery. This includes updating management systems.
You will support the team with road safety inspections, road maintenance estimating and design (including footpath, carriageway and drainage works), while helping with the financial and performance monitoring and reporting.
Social care - accommodation
You will help support older people with varying needs, including physical disabilities and dementia.
Working within the HR Systems Administration team you will process requests and help maintain and update the main HR and Payroll systems.
Youthwork (two posts)
You will work as part of the Communities Team supporting activities including engaging with young people and online/digital activity.
Youthwork (one post)
Working as part of the 16+ team, you will advise and support to young people aged 15-20 who are not in employment, education or training. You will develop and deliver programmes to support young people to develop the skills they need.
You will work with the HR team on some processing and administrative work, while supporting the development of the intranet site (internal website for staff) and other channels to engage employees and managers.
You will support several services within the council by providing general clerical/administrative duties.
Community mental health team
Working in the Community Mental Health administration team you will support employees with general processing and administration work.
You will create content for the council’s social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Working with the team you will respond to requests from other departments for support and help with video editing, filming and design work.
Assist with communications across digital channels within the service, supporting events and updating and monitoring social media channels.
You will undertake clerical tasks, providing information, advice and guidance to colleagues and processing changes to employee contracts.
Business Support: Children, Families and Justice
You will support social workers and family support services, who cover the Forfar and Kirriemuir area.
Housing Assets (two posts)
Working with the team, you will help construction projects, gain an insight into Architectural Technology, Quantity Surveying and Building Surveying.
