Our Modern Apprenticeship (MA) scheme lets you earn while you learn. You’ll get the chance to gain skills, get experience and complete a recognised qualification all while earning a salary.
Accounting technician modern apprentice - based at Angus House, Forfar (although agile working encouraged) providing accountancy support to the team, getting involved in basic accountancy, ledger work and in making financial returns, while completing SVQ Level 3 in Accounting.
Active schools modern apprentice – working in schools in either Brechin/Montrose or Forfar/Kirriemuir or Carnoustie/Monifeith area, helping to make sure children and young people are more active in various sports and physical activities, as well as general administrative duties. You would complete a SVQ 3 Diploma for Leisure Management.
Building standards modern apprentice – based at Angus House, Forfar, helping to process and assist in verification of applications for building warrants and completion certificates, while working towards a SCQF Level 7 in Architectural Technology.
IT support modern apprentice – based at Angus House, Forfar (although agile working encouraged) working in the IT service carrying out duties including manning the service desk (where staff ask for IT help/support), telephone duties, request/incident handling and general administrative duties using a range of software packages. You would complete a SVQ Level 3 Diploma for Information Technology and Telecommunications Professionals
Occupational health and safety modern apprentice – based at Angus House, Forfar (although agile working encouraged), supporting the health and safety team to have safe working practices for our activities and in our buildings where our employees, service users and visitors are, all while completing a SVQ Level 3 in Occupational Health and Safety.
Organisational development modern apprentice – working in the organisational development team, supporting the learning and development of staff, while working towards a SVQ 3 in Business and Administration.
School support modern apprentice x 2 positions – based at Arbroath High School or Grange Primary School, working as part of a small team carrying out general clerical and administrative tasks including inputting data, photocopying, filing and mail duties, while working towards a SVQ 3 in Business and Administration.
