Angus Licensing Board

The Angus Licensing Board is responsible for regulating the sale of alcohol to the public, and certain gambling activities.

It does this by issuing Alcohol Licences and Betting and Gaming licences and permits.

Gambling Act 2005 - Statement of Policy

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Angus Licensing Board intends to publish its fifth Statement of Policy on Friday 23 November 2018. The Statement of Policy will come into effect on Thursday 31 January 2019.

The Statement of Policy was approved by Angus Licensing Board at a meeting held on Thursday 1 November 2018.

A copy of the Statement is available for inspection at the Licensing Section, Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar, weekly, between:

  • 9am and 5pm on a Monday and a Friday
  • 9am and 12 noon on a Tuesday

Angus Licensing Board has adopted Angus Council's Equalities Mainstreaming Report and Equality Outcomes approved by Angus Council at the meeting of its Strategic Policy Committee on 30 April 2013.
