Angus Licensing Board

The Angus Licensing Board is responsible for regulating the sale of alcohol to the public, and certain gambling activities.

It does this by issuing Alcohol Licences and Betting and Gaming licences and permits.

Statements of Policy

As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the Board has been unable to publish its Annual Functions Report and Annual Financial Report within three months after the end of the financial year. The Board approved its Annual Functions Report for publication on 17 September 2020 and this can be viewed below.  The Annual Financial Report will be published within nine months after the end of the financial year in accordance with section 9B(1A) of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.

Angus Licensing Board has adopted Angus Council's Equalities Mainstreaming Report and Equality Outcomes approved by Angus Council.
