The current Angus Local Development Plan (LDP), which was adopted in September 2016, is undergoing a review.
The next Local Development Plan (AngusPlan) will be prepared under the new legislative requirements of the Planning (Scotland) Act 2019. In line with current timescales for implementation of the Act, this is likely to see a new plan adopted in 2024.
Our recent and future work programme is focussed on gathering the background information necessary for the Evidence Report as the first stage of preparing a development plan under the new arrangements. The Development Plan Scheme sets out the latest position.
