All participants of a school trip are covered by the council's policy which provides cover for all school trips that include an overnight stay in the UK and abroad.
This includes ski trips and Duke of Edinburgh overnight expeditions.
The group leader will inform our insurance team of any claims to be submitted on return from the trip.
You may be asked to provide information to help process the claim such as:
- when a lost item was purchased
- how much the item cost
- a letter from your GP if your child is unable to travel
Our policy only applies to overnight trips.
