Bottles and food containers
All types of plastic bottles (and plastic lids) and food containers such as:
- yoghurt pots
- food trays
- ice cream tubs
- margarine tubs
- fruit punnets
- and so on
go in the grey recycling bin or the appropriate bin at any of our recycling centres.
Please rinse and remove food residue.
Hard plastics
Hard plastics such as:
- buckets
- plant pots
- pipes
- toys
- and so on
go in the purple bin or the nonrecyclable (general) waste skip at Arbroath, Carnoustie, Forfar or Montrose recycling centres.
Soft plastics
Soft plastics such as:
- plastic bags
- cling film
- crisp packets
- bread bags
- and so on
are accepted by some supermarkets and shops in Angus for recycling. For more information visit recyclenow.com.
