You can put the following in your grey bin:
- newspapers, magazines and brochures
- office grade paper
- junk mail
- phone directories
- envelopes (including those with windows)
You can also take paper to any recycling centre.
Hard-backed books and catalogues go in the nonrecyclable (general) waste skip.
Please don't tie bundles of paper together as string is a contaminant.
Not accepted in grey bins or recycling centres
- paper potato and seed sacks
- shiny/metallic paper
This goes in your purple bin or in the nonrecyclable (general) waste skip at Arbroath, Forfar and Montrose recycling centres.
