Rapid Charge EV Points now accepting contactless payment

We've upgraded our available electric vehicle rapid charge points so they can now accept contactless payment.

This has been funded by the Energy Saving Trust on behalf of Transport Scotland and sees three rapid chargers being replaced at Angus House, Forfar; High Street Car Park, Carnoustie; and Stanley Street Car Park, Arbroath.

This is in accordance with new UK-wide Public Charge Point Regulations (Public Charge Point Regulations 2023 guidance – GOV.UK), which came took effect from November 2024 and is intended to make EV chargers easier to use for residents and visitors.
