Road resurfacing is scheduled to start in Arbroath’s Lochlands Street (B964) from Monday 12 October. For safety reasons, the road will be closed for approximately one week (weather permitting) while work is carried out by Tayside Contracts. As such, the movement of vehicles and pedestrians will be affected.

Roadworks are set to begin in Arbroath’s Hill Street this Friday (25 Sep). The first phase of work, lasting one day, will remove two speed cushions and be managed by a managed lane closure. No on-street parking will be allowed in the immediate area.

Angus Council yesterday evening (10 September) took the decision not to appeal the judgment of the Inner House of the Court of Session in the judicial review relating to the former Lochside Leisure Centre, having determined that an appeal would not be in the best interests of the people of Angus.
