Families who qualify for free school meals based on financial criteria will receive a single ‘Direct Payment’ of £2.50 for Free School Meals (1 day Free Meal allowance) to cover the holiday on Monday 5th May 2025.  This payment will be in bank accounts on, or around, Friday 2nd May 2025.

We've upgraded our available electric vehicle rapid charge points so they can now accept contactless payment.This has been funded by the Energy Saving Trust on behalf of Transport Scotland and sees three rapid chargers being replaced at Angus House, Forfar; High Street Car Park, Carnoustie; and Stanley Street Car Park, Arbroath.

These, “larger than your average” sandbags are robust and filled with quarried sand. They’ve been positioned within the low points in the dunes at the “pipey” and at points to its north and south.
