Resurfacing and drainage works will begin on the B978 at East Denside tomorrow (Wed 22 Nov) and will take approximately eight working days to complete.
They will be carried out under road closure between 8am and 3pm on working days. Diversions will be signed locally, with the route as follows –
B978 (Kellas Road) to B961 (Drumsturdy Road) to B9128 to B9127 to B978 and the reverse when travelling in the opposite direction.
Vehicle access to properties will be limited while work is ongoing. Anyone requiring assistance should speak to a member of the workforce who will assist.
Bin collections are not affected.
If you, or anyone you know lives or works in the affected area and has any special needs, particularly with regards to access or mobility, is asked to contact Angus Council so we can make any necessary arrangements.
Public transport will be affected by this work. Notices will be posted locally at bus stops to inform of any changes and alternative stops.
