May In-Service Day Free School Meal Payment

Families who qualify for free school meals based on financial criteria will receive a single ‘Direct Payment’ of £2.50 for Free School Meals (1 day Free Meal allowance) to cover the In-Service Day on Monday 26 May 2025.  This payment will be in bank accounts on, or around, Friday 23 May 2025.

You will receive a payment if you meet the following criteria if you have a child currently in:

• P1-P5 who is in receipt of school clothing grant
• P6-S6 who is in receipt of free school meals during term time.
