Dispensations
In certain circumstances, such as where a vehicle needs to be parked at or near a location because it is essential for the work taking place, parking dispensations are available. For example the vehicle is carrying a generator.

Suspensions
Parking bay suspensions are available for:
- facilitating the movement of traffic or promoting its safety
- any building operation, demolition or excavation (separate section 58 permit required)
- the maintenance or cleaning of gullies
- utility works
- roadworks
- furniture removal
- funerals or special occasions
- event management
