In December of your child’s P7 year you will receive information from us regarding their allocated place for secondary school. Please ensure that your child’s primary school have your email address if you have one.
Pupils will be offered a place at the secondary school which serves the catchment area according to their home address. Visit our schools information page where you can carry out a postcode search to find your school.
If you do not wish your child to attend their catchment area secondary school please complete a placing request to go to another Angus school of your choice.
If your child currently attends an Angus primary school but you reside outwith the Angus Council boundaries please complete a placing request to go to an Angus secondary school of your choice.

P7 children must actually be living within the catchment area and attending their catchment school of Auchterhouse, Birkhill, Liff or Strathmartine to have the option of the Dundee City Council secondary school.
