Whether you need a ticket depends on the type of commercial waste you need to dispose of.
You will need a commercial waste disposal ticket for:
- general waste
- garden waste
- soil/turf
- wood
- plasterboard
- rubble
- fluorescent tubes
You don't need a commercial waste disposal ticket if you are bringing the following items, and nothing else:
- cardboard (flattened and free from plastics/string)
- clothes and textiles
- food and drink cans
- food and drink cartons
- glass bottles and jars
- electrical appliances (domestic only, no industrial appliances)
- newspapers, magazines and office grade paper
- plastic bottles, plastic lids, and plastic containers
- scrap metal
- shoes and handbags
We don't accept these types of commercial waste at recycling centres:
- asbestos
- commercial sized fridges or freezers
- cooking oil
- food waste
- gas bottles/compressed gas cannisters
- vehicle batteries
- engine oil
- hazardous waste of any kind

After completing the form you will receive an email with your ticket(s). You will need your ticket reference number when booking your time slot online.
Charges are based on the size of the vehicle (or trailer) used to transport the waste, with tickets available for three different categories of vehicle size.
Please Note:
- site staff will check your booking (and ticket) electronically on arrival
- tickets must correspond to the correct vehicle type (as illustrated below)
- a ticket must be produced for each load. For example, a loaded van towing a full trailer requires two tickets ‒ one for each load
