If you live within the streets affected by the restrictions, you should apply for a permit that you must display on your car windscreen. We will notify affected households by letter. If your household has more than one car, you can apply for a permit for each car. This only applies to those living at the address.
Please note the permit only exempts drivers from entering the school friendly zone and not from the requirements of the associated parking restrictions.

- Disabled users displaying a blue badge will be permitted as well as emergency services and contract school transport dropping or picking up pupils from the school.
- business owners can apply for permits for vehicles registered at their business address within the zone
- Permits will be available for visitors including family members who do not live with you. These will only be issued where a specific need can be identified.
- Permits are vehicle specific (except visitors). If you are about to change your vehicle, wait until receiving your new registration documents before applying
- Delivery vehicles will have to abide by the restrictions
- Parking (other than where School Keep Clear Markings are in place) is not affected by this scheme
