There is a weekly charge of £5.99 for the community alarm and a further £1 every week for telecare equipment.
Telecare equipment will be supplied free for eight weeks prior to charging. This allows you to experience the benefits of having the equipment installed.
You are also responsible for the ongoing costs of any calls made (at your providers agreed call charge rate) as well as any flat rate charge for the service.
Angus Health and Social Care Partnership meet the following costs:
- supply and fit of a community alarm unit
- maintenance of equipment
- replacement of equipment
- provision of the call monitoring 24-hour service, the control centre
