It is one year since the physical work began on the £12 million Arbroath (Brothock Water) Flood Protection Scheme. Despite the challenges of delivering the national priority project during the COVID-19 pandemic, work has pressed on and is currently ongoing at Hercules Den, St Vigeans and Brothock Meadows.

Children Seen Playing on Ice Angus Council is asking people to stay safe and keep off the ice over concerns around the danger of falling through it. Parents and carers are also encouraged to discuss the dangers with their children when playing out doors as sadly the risks far outweigh the fun.
